Whoo's In LoveWhoo's In Love

Screech Owls mate for life and typically nest in the hollow of a tree. When they "court" the male flys near a female, bobs and swivels his head, then slowly winks one eye at her. When she finally accepts him they move close together and touch bills. This owl couple is masterfully portrayed by artist Scott Kennedy in this detailed and romantic watercolor painting.
