What a thrill to wake up on Christmas morning to find a lively and lovable ball of white fur under, or near, the tree. I know it is unlikely that this fine example of man’s best friend, a Samoyed Puppy, would stay in this position for long, but that is one of the reasons I wanted to capture it in art.
