| This painting is one of the artist's most detailed. It was inspired by a trip he and his wife took to the Iditarod dog-sled race in Alaska. “The title has a dual meaning,” Kennedy reveals. “A dog musher is a breed apart from most people. It takes a unique person to rise to the challenge. But also, in addition to the team, there are also two wolves silently watching from the timber who are a breed apart from the dogs.”
